Experienced Administration Guru required to work with a passionate, committed pack of humans, who rescue shelter dogs and train them as PTSD Assistance Dogs for Veterans and 000 First Responders clinically diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Must have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing a busy office, be very well organised and be able to organise others, bringing calm and organisation to the office. As a skilled self-starter you must be able to work under minimal guidance, see a job and do it. Whilst able to work alone also work as a Pack member.
Specific tasks will include providing PA support to the CEO and general office administration and office management including responding to telephone and email queries, entering data, keeping records, taking minutes, making phone calls, managing calendars, assisting with the planning and running of events of all sizes.
Must have advanced skills and experience in:
- Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook, Share Point, Power Point, File Explorer, Teams
- Dropbox
- Mailchimp
- Copywriting / Media Release Production
- Developing and improving administrative processes
- Ensure effective management of information and communication
- Work alongside other pack members to manage day to day office operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity
- Interpersonal and written communication skills including dealing with difficult or sensitive situations
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn new processes
- Process oriented with attention to detailed planning & problem solving
- Ability to manage competing priorities and view points
- High level of communication skills including active listening. Be empathic and able to assist potential client’s complete paperwork.
Experience in the following highly advantageous:
- Adobe products including Indesign
- Marketing and design
- Event Management
- Experience in client relationship software packages and database management
- WordPress
PTSD Dogs Australia’s office is located in Black Mountain in a home environment. The position is permanent part time for 32.5 hours per week over a 5 day work week with some weekend work required. There is some flexibility around working times for the right candidate.
